Defect
On heavy-haul tractors, an improper installation process results in some units having the front-left and front-right mounting points of the fifth-wheel coupler plate fastened with non-specification bolts and nuts. Continued use may cause those fasteners to loosen. In the worst case, the fasteners may fall off while the vehicle is in motion and become a hazard to other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the non-specification bolts and nuts at the front-left and front-right positions of the fifth-wheel coupler plate (up to four locations) with the correct specification fasteners.

状況
重量物輸送用トラクタにおいて、第五輪カプラを載せるカプラプレートの取付け工程が不適切なため、当該プレートの左右前側が非正規のボルト・ナットで締結されているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ボルト・ナットが緩み、最悪の場合、走行中に脱落し、他の交通の妨げとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、第五輪カプラプレートの左右前側（最大４か所）のボルト・ナットを正規品に交換する。
