Defect
The tail pipe weld specification on the muffler is incorrect, resulting in insufficient attachment strength. Engine vibration causes cracks to develop at the weld joint. Continued use may cause the tail pipe to detach, exposing the air cleaner case and hydraulic hose (drive and load-handling circuit) to exhaust heat from the muffler. This can melt these components and cause hydraulic fluid to leak, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the exhaust pipe on all vehicles with a corrected part. Additionally, inspect the surrounding area and replace the air cleaner case and hydraulic hose if damage is found.

状況
マフラーのテールパイプにおいて、テールパイプの溶接指示が不適切なため、パイプの取付強度が不足し、エンジン振動により、溶接部に亀裂が発生することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けるとテールパイプが脱落し、マフラーから排出される排気熱によりエアクリーナケースや油圧ホース(走行兼荷役用)が溶損し、作動油が漏れ、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気パイプを対策品に交換する。なお、当該部位の周辺を点検し、エアクリーナケース、油圧ホースに損傷がある場合は、当該部品も交換する。
