Defect
During engine assembly, cleaning fluid used when installing the connecting rod bolts is not adequately removed. Residual cleaning fluid in the gap between the connecting rod bolt and its mounting hole causes corrosion on the bolt surface. Continued operation may allow small cracks to form in the bolt and, in the worst case, the bolt may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the connecting rod bolts with new parts.

状況
原動機内部のコネクティングロッドの組付け時に使用している洗浄液の除去が不適切なため、コネクティングロッドのボルトと取付け穴の隙間に洗浄液が残留しボルトの表面が腐食することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ボルトに微小な亀裂が発生するものがあり、最悪の場合、ボルトが折損して走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、コネクティングロッドボルトを新品に交換する。
