Defect
Improper management of the adhesive bonding process during manufacturing results in insufficient adhesion of the front and rear windshield glass. Continued use allows vehicle vibration and other forces to progressively detach the bond, permitting water to intrude into the passenger compartment. In the worst case, the glass may separate from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected glass with new units.
