Defect
The adaptive LED headlight control module contains a control program that is inappropriate, preventing the system from correctly detecting surrounding vehicles. As a result, areas that should be illuminated with low beam—such as zones occupied by a preceding vehicle or oncoming vehicle—may instead be illuminated with high beam.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the control module with the corrected/updated software.
