Defect
On large vehicles modified with a lowered trunnion suspension, the machining instructions for the trunnion spacer are improperly specified, causing unstable seating between the trunnion seat and trunnion spacer during assembly. Driving vibration and related forces cause the trunnion spacer to wear, reducing the clamping load of the U-bolts that secure the leaf springs. As a result, the suspension may cease to function properly.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the trunnion spacer with the corrected/revised part and replace any other components suspected of damage.

状況
トラニオンサスペンションの低床化改造をした大型車において、トラニオンスペーサの加工指示が不適切なため、組付け時にトラニオンシートとトラニオンスペーサの着座が不安定になっている。そのため、走行振動等によりトラニオンスペーサが摩耗することにより、リーフスプリングを固定するUボルトの軸力が低下し、緩衝装置が機能しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、トラニオンスペーサの対策品と損傷が懸念される部品を交換する。
