Defect

The view monitor unit uses incorrect startup conditions, causing the system that switches to the side and rear cameras to fail to initialize on startup. As a result, the i-ACTIVSENSE warning lamp illuminates and a message indicating a view monitor unit malfunction is displayed on the meter display. The side and rear camera images may also fail to appear.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, reprogram the view monitor unit control software to the corrected/updated software.

状況

(4)ビューモニターユニットにおいて、システムの起動条件が不適切なため、起動時にサイド及びバックカメラに切り替えるシステムが起動しないことがある。そのため、i-ACTIVSENSE警告灯が点灯し、ビューモニターユニット異常を知らせるメッセージがメータ内ディスプレイに表示される。また、サイド及びバックカメラの映像が表示できないおそれがある。

改善措置

(4)全車両、ビューモニターユニットの制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。
