Defect
At the vehicle manufacturing plant, the parking brake inspection equipment was configured incorrectly during pre-shipment inspection, causing some vehicles to not receive a proper Safety Standards compliance check for parking brake performance.
Corrective action
Verify the post-shipment inspection history for all vehicles. Vehicles for which the inspection was not properly performed must undergo a parking brake inspection conducted by a certified vehicle inspector at a designated repair facility. Any non-conformance with the Safety Standards must be corrected.

状況
車両製作工場の出荷検査において、駐車制動装置の制動力検査設備の設定が不適切なため、制動力の保安基準適合性の検査が適切に行われていなかったものがある。
改善措置
全車両、出荷後の検査履歴を確認し、未実施の車両は指定整備工場において自動車検査員による検査を行う。また保安基準に関する不具合が認められた場合は是正する。
