Defect
In the front seat belt retractor, improper machining of internal components causes the occupant restraint force control mechanism — which maintains belt load at a constant level — to malfunction. As a result, the seat belt may fail to meet occupant protection performance requirements in the event of a collision or similar impact.
Corrective action
Replace the front seat belts on all vehicles with conforming units.

状況
前席の座席ベルトの巻取り装置（リトラクタ）において、内部の部品加工が不適切なため、乗員拘束力制御機構（シートベルトの拘束力を一定レベルに保つもの）が正しく機能しないものがある。そのため、衝突等による衝撃を受けた場合の乗員の保護性能を満足しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前席座席ベルトを良品に交換する。
