Defect
On large tractors, the heat shield (heat protector) was manufactured with an incorrect shape. During vehicle operation, driving vibration can cause the heat shield to contact and interfere with the transmission oil cooler hose. Continued use allows the hose to crack and leak oil, causing transmission shift malfunctions. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the heat shield with the corrected part and replace the oil cooler hose with a new unit.

状況
大型トラクタに取り付けた遮熱板（ヒートプロテクタ）において、遮熱板の形状が不適切なため、走行振動等によりトランスミッションのオイルクーラーホースに干渉することがある。そのため、そのままの使用を続けると、トランスミッションのオイルクーラーホースに亀裂が生じ、オイルが漏れて変速不良となり、最悪の場合、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、遮熱板を対策品に交換し、オイルクーラーホースを新品に交換する。
