Defect
On large trucks, (2) the software in the vehicle master control unit that governs wiper operation is incorrect. Performing a specific operation while the wipers are running may cause the wiper control to enter a failsafe mode. As a result, the wipers stop for a period of time, and the driver may be unable to maintain the required field of vision.
Corrective action
(2) On all vehicles, reprogram the vehicle master control unit.

状況
大型トラックにおいて、 （２） ワイパーの作動を制御する車両マスター制御ユニットのプログラムが不適切なため、ワイパー作動中に特定の操作を行うと、ワイパーの制御がフェイルセーフになることがある。そのため、ワイパーが一定時間停止し、必要な視野を確保することができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
（２） 全車両、車両マスター制御ユニットのプログラムを書き換える。
