Defect
During the rear axle U-bolt nut tightening process on light trucks, incorrect settings on the tightening equipment have resulted in insufficient torque on some fasteners. Continued use in this condition may cause the nuts to loosen and the rear axle to shift. In the worst case, the propeller shaft may separate from the vehicle, rendering it unable to be driven.
Corrective action
Verify the tightening torque of the affected nuts on all vehicles. On any vehicle with insufficient torque, replace the U-bolts, nuts, and washers with new parts and tighten to the specified value.

状況
小型トラックのリヤアクスル固定用Uボルトナット締付工程において、締付装置の設定が不適切なため、締付トルクが不足しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ナットが緩みリヤアクスルがずれ、最悪の場合、プロペラシャフトが外れ、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ナットの締付トルクを確認し、トルクが不足しているものは、Uボルト、ナット、ワッシャを新品に交換し、適切に締め付ける。
