Defect
On medium-duty van trucks, the side reflex reflectors are mounted in incorrect positions that expose them directly to exhaust gas. Heat from the exhaust gas deforms the reflectors, causing the vehicles to fail to conform to Safety Standards Article 35-2 (Side Reflex Reflector Requirements).
Corrective action
On all vehicles, relocate the side reflex reflectors to positions not exposed to exhaust gas. Any reflectors that have already deformed must be replaced with new parts.

状況
中型バントラックにおいて、側方反射器の取付位置が不適切なため、排出ガスが直接かかるものがある。そのため、排出ガスの熱により、側方反射器が変形し、保安基準第３５条の２（側方反射器の基準）に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排出ガスの影響がない位置に側方反射器を移動する。なお、側方反射器に変形が生じているものは、新品に交換する。
