Defect
In the fuel pump of hybrid vehicles, the voltage applied to the pump is excessive and the motor brushes are improperly assembled, causing the brushes to tilt and generate excessive sparking, which leads to abnormal wear. As a result, the fuel pump may malfunction and cause the engine to stall.
Corrective action
Replace the fuel pump on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
ハイブリッド車の燃料ポンプにおいて、当該ポンプへかかる電圧が高く、かつモータブラシの組付けが不適切なため、ブラシが傾いて過大なスパークが発生し異常摩耗することがある。そのため、燃料ポンプが作動不良となりエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料ポンプを対策品に交換する。
