Defect
On large trucks equipped with a mechanical automated transmission, the control program governing the two-motor automated clutch actuator system is defective. If one motor fails, the remaining motor may be unable to operate the clutch. This causes the warning light to illuminate and may render the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the control unit with the corrected/updated software and replace the motors with new ones.

状況
大型トラックの機械式自動変速機において、２個仕様の自動クラッチ作動用モータの制御プログラムが不適切なため、片側モータ失陥時に残りのモータでクラッチが作動できないことがある。そのため、警告灯が点灯するとともに走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、制御プログラムを対策プログラムに書き換えるとともにモータを新品に交換する。
