Defect
On full-time 4WD light trucks equipped with an automated mechanical transmission, the transmission control software is incorrectly calibrated. If rear-wheel slip persists during launch, engine speed rises uncontrollably and, in the worst case, unintended acceleration may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the automated mechanical transmission control unit with the corrected/updated software.

状況
小型トラックのフルタイム４ＷＤ車において、機械式自動変速機の制御プログラムが不適切なため、発進時に後輪のスリップ状態が続くと、エンジン回転数が上昇し、最悪の場合、意図せぬ加速をするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、機械式自動変速機の制御プログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。
