Defect
In the driver-side airbag inflator, the propellant may degrade when exposed to prolonged thermal cycling under humid conditions. During airbag deployment, this degradation may cause the inflator housing to rupture and scatter fragments, potentially injuring vehicle occupants.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the inflator with a corrected part. Because sourcing replacement parts will require additional time, replacements will be performed on a rolling basis as parts become available.

状況
運転席側エアバッグのインフレータ（ガス発生装置）において、ガス発生剤が湿気のある状態で長期間の温度変化にさらされると劣化することがある。このため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損して構成部品が飛散し、乗員が負傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該インフレータを対策品に交換する。 なお、交換用部品の準備に時間を要することから、準備ができた段階で順次交換する。
