Defect
The engine water pump has an insufficient assembly clearance at the bearing section. This may cause the bearing to fail and the water pump to stop functioning. As a result, the timing belt sustains damage, and continued operation may cause the engine to stall and become unable to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the water pump will be replaced with a corrected part.

状況
エンジンのウォーターポンプにおいて、ベアリング部の組付隙間が小さいため、ベアリングが破損し、ウォーターポンプが機能しなくなる場合がある。そのため、タイミングベルトが損傷し、そのまま使用を続けると、エンジンが停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ウォーターポンプを対策品に交換する。
