Defect
In the engine water pump, the bearing assembly clearance is too small, which may cause the bearing to fracture and the water pump to lose function. This can damage the timing belt, and if operation continues, the engine may stall and become unable to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the water pump with a corrected part.

状況
エンジンのウォーターポンプにおいて、ベアリング部の組付隙間が小さいため、ベアリングが破損し、ウォーターポンプが機能しなくなる場合がある。そのため、タイミングベルトが損傷し、そのまま使用を続けると、エンジンが停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ウォーターポンプを対策品に交換する。
