Defect
On engine-powered forklifts, the connection design between the intercooler hose and the intake flange is improper, resulting in insufficient clamping force at the joint. Under conditions where engine heat reduces the hardness of the intercooler hose, repeated high-load operation may cause the hose to pull free of the intake flange, reducing engine output. In addition, exhaust emissions may exceed the regulatory limits for large special-purpose vehicle exhaust gas standards, causing the vehicle to fall out of conformance with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the intake flange and hose clamp with corrected parts.

状況
エンジン式フォークリフトの原動機において、インタクーラホースとインテークフランジの接続設計が不適切なため、接続部の締結力が不足している。そのため、エンジンから受ける熱等によりインタクーラホースの硬度が低下した状況下で、繰り返しエンジン負荷が大きい作業を行うと、インタクーラホースが抜け、エンジンの出力が低下するおそれがある。また、排気ガスが大型特殊自動車排出ガス規制の基準値を超え、保安基準に適合しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、インテークフランジおよび、ホースクランプを対策品と交換する。
