Defect
The noise-suppression resistor inside the ignition coil is incorrectly designed. Arc discharge generated during ignition current flow may cause a broken wire at the resistor terminal. This reduces ignition coil output, causing engine malfunction and illuminating the engine warning light. Additionally, ignition-generated electrical noise may prevent the fuel injection system from operating correctly, and the engine may stall.
Corrective action
Replace the ignition coil with a corrected/revised part on all vehicles.

状況
点火コイル内部の電気ノイズを除去する雑防抵抗の構造が不適切なため、点火時の通電によるアーク放電により、当該抵抗端末部が断線するものがある。そのため、点火コイルの出力が不足してエンジン不調となり、エンジン警告灯が点灯するおそれがある。また、点火時に発生するノイズにより燃料噴射装置が正しく制御できず、エンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、点火コイルを対策品と交換する。
