Defect
A system designed to alert following vehicles during hard braking or a collision by activating emergency and hazard flashers uses a control program that was improperly configured. When the system activates, the hazard flasher operates at a frequency that does not comply with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
Reprogram the control program to the corrected/updated software on all vehicles, or replace the control computer with a corrected part.

状況
急制動及び事故発生時に緊急点滅表示灯及び非常点滅表示灯により後続車に注意をうながすシステムにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、当該システムの作動時に非常点滅表示灯の点滅回数が保安基準に適合しない。
改善措置
全車両、制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。若しくは、当該制御用コンピュータを対策品に交換する。
