Defect
On heavy-duty trucks equipped with a 12-speed mechanical automatic transmission, the low-pressure switch that detects air pressure drops in the shift control system has an incorrectly configured activation threshold. As a result, the low air pressure warning may be delayed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the low-pressure switch with the corrected/revised part.
