Defect
On trucks equipped with a digital tachograph, the owner's manual contains incorrect instructions for setting the internal clock of the tachograph. If the clock is reset, following the manual's procedure does not allow the clock to be set correctly, and the tachograph will not operate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the owner's manual with a revised version containing the correct operating instructions. Additionally, inspect the tachograph's internal clock and, if it has been reset, perform the correct clock-setting procedure.

状況
デジタル式運行記録計を装着したトラックにおいて、取扱説明書の当該運行記録計の内蔵時計の設定方法の記載に不適切な箇所がある。そのため、時計がリセットされた場合、取扱説明書通りに操作しても時計設定ができず、当該運行記録計が作動しない。
改善措置
全車両、適切な操作方法を記載した取扱説明書に交換する。また、点検し、デジタル式運行記録計の内蔵時計がリセットされている場合は時計設定を行う。
