Defect
On large and medium trucks, the inner hub bearings on some vehicles were filled with an insufficient amount of grease during production. Continued use causes inadequate lubrication of the hub bearings. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable or a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the inner hub bearings on all axles and all wheels. Bearings found to be damaged must be replaced with new parts. Bearings found to be undamaged must be filled with the correct amount of grease.

状況
大型及び中型トラックにおいて、内側ハブベアリングのグリース充填量が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ハブベアリングが潤滑不良になり、最悪の場合、走行不能または火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、総軸(全輪)内側ハブベアリング部を点検し、ベアリングが損傷しているものは新品に交換する。また、損傷がないものはグリースを適正量充填する。
