Defect
In replacement fuel tanks, the internal baffle plate is improperly welded. Vehicle vibration and normal operation can cause the baffle plate to detach and interfere with the fuel level gauge float. As a result, the fuel gauge displays an incorrect reading, leading to unexpected fuel exhaustion and engine stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, confirm the lot information of the fuel tank. If the affected part is installed, replace it with a conforming part.

状況
交換修理用部品の燃料タンクにおいて、タンク内の仕切り板の溶接が不適切なため、車両振動等で仕切り板が外れ、燃料レベルゲージのフロートに干渉することがある。そのため、燃料残量計に正しい残量が表示されず、予期せぬ燃料切れとなり、走行中にエンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクのロット情報を確認し、該当部品が組付けられていた場合は良品に交換する。
