Defect
During the manufacturing process for the rear wheel brake upper return spring, an improperly shaped jig scratched the spring on some units. Continued use may cause the upper return spring to fracture. In the worst case, braking force may not fully release even after the brake is disengaged.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the rear wheel brake manufacturing date and, where applicable, replace the upper return spring with a conforming unit.

状況
後輪ブレーキのアッパースプリング製造工程において、治具の形状が不適切なためスプリングに傷がついたものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該アッパースプリングが折損し、最悪の場合、ブレーキを解除しても制動力が完全に解除されないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、後輪ブレーキの製造日を確認し、対象の場合は当該アッパースプリングを良品と交換する。
