Defect
On light-duty trucks equipped with an electronically controlled manual transmission, the internal circuit of the motor drive unit that automatically controls clutch operation is improperly designed. Excessive current flows while the clutch motor is operating, which may damage internal components of the motor drive unit. This causes the warning lamp to illuminate and the clutch to stop functioning. In the worst case, the engine stalls when the vehicle comes to a stop and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the motor drive unit with the corrected part.

状況
電子制御式マニュアルトランスミッションを搭載した小型トラックにおいて、クラッチ操作を自動制御するモータードライブユニットの内部回路が不適切なため、クラッチモーターの作動中に過電流が流れ、モータードライブユニットの内部素子が破損することがある。そのため、警告灯が点灯するとともにクラッチが作動せず、最悪の場合、停車時にエンストし再始動ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、モータードライブユニットを対策品と交換する。
