Defect
On hook-lift container vehicles, the tie-down device connecting the chassis frame to the body structure has two defects: (1) inadequate bolt torque management during assembly results in undertorqued fasteners on some units; and (2) insufficient design review and production control of the frame support allows the frame support to rotate. With continued use, the rotating frame support may contact the hydraulic oil hose for the oil cooler, causing a transmission oil leak. In the worst case, transmission seizure may occur and the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a guide to the eye bolt, replace the frame support with a redesigned corrected/revised part, and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque value.

状況
脱着装置付きコンテナ自動車のシャシフレームと架装物を連結する固縛装置において、 ①ボルトの締付トルク管理が不適切なため、締付トルクが不足しているものがある。 ②フレームサポートの設計検討および施工管理が不十分なため、フレームサポートが回転することがある。 そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、オイルクーラー用油圧ホースとフレームサポートが干渉してミッションオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、トランスミッションが焼き付き、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、Ｉボルトのガイドを追加し、構造変更した対策型フレームサポートに交換し、規定トルクで締付ける。
