Defect
On route buses, the anchor nuts used to secure the seat belt anchor bolts above the driver's seat were incorrectly specified. Because the wrong nuts were installed, forced threading during assembly damaged the threads on the anchor bolts. Continued use allows the bolts to loosen and, in the worst case, the seat belt may detach from the anchor mounting point.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the shape of the seat belt anchor nuts. If an incorrect nut is found, replace the anchor bracket securing that nut with a genuine part and replace the anchor bolt with a new one.

状況
路線バスの運転席の上方の座席ベルト取付部において、アンカーボルトを受け固定するアンカーナットに誤ったものが使用されているため、無理なねじ込み作業によりアンカーボルトのねじ山が損傷しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ボルトが緩み、最悪の場合、座席ベルトが当該取付部から外れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、座席ベルトアンカーナットの形状を点検し、誤ったものが使用されている場合は当該ナットが固定されているアンカーブラケットを正規品に交換するとともに、アンカーボルトを新品に交換する。
