Defect
An error in the specified front turning radius of the tractor causes the tractor-side trailer control valve to contact the trailer on certain trailer combinations. This allows air to leak from the trailer-side brake circuit and, in the worst case, may cause the parking brake to apply, rendering the vehicle unable to move.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the tractor platform equipment. Where contact between the tractor-side trailer control valve and the trailer may occur, relocate the control valve.

状況
トラクタの前まわり半径の諸元値を誤ったため、牽引されるトレーラによってはトラクタ側トレーラコントロールバルブとトレーラが干渉するものがある。そのため、トレーラ側ブレーキのエアが漏れ、最悪の場合、駐車ブレーキが作動し走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、トラクタのプラットホームの架装物を確認し、トラクタ側トレーラコントロールバルブとトレーラが干渉するおそれがあるものは、当該コントロールバルブを移設する。
