Defect
The tensioner pulley that adjusts belt tension for the steering pump drive belt uses an incorrect resin material on its outer circumference, which may cause that resin section to fracture. This produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, the belt may disengage from the steering pump pulley, increasing steering effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the tensioner pulley with the corrected/revised part.

状況
パワーステアリングポンプ駆動用ベルトの張力を調整するテンショナプーリの外周樹脂部の材質が不適切なため、当該樹脂部が破損することがある。そのため、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該ベルトがパワーステアリングポンププーリより外れてハンドルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、テンショナプーリを対策品と交換する。
