Defect
The electrical circuit to the combination switch is improperly designed. If the wiring harness serving the tail lamps and related lights develops a short circuit and the fog lamps are then activated, the harness inside the combination switch overheats. In the worst case, the harness may burn.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the harness to the tail lamps and related lights is inspected and repaired if damaged. A fused harness is added to the electrical circuit feeding the combination switch.

状況
コンビネーションスイッチへの電気回路が不適切なため、尾灯等へのハーネスがショートした状態で霧灯を点灯すると、コンビネーションスイッチ内のハーネスが発熱し、最悪の場合、焼損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、尾灯等へのハーネスを点検し、損傷がある場合は、補修する。また、コンビネーションスイッチへの電気回路にヒューズを経由したハーネスを追加する。
