Defect
The electrical circuit within the ECU controlling gear shifts on the automated mechanical transmission is improperly designed. In cold ambient conditions, the clutch may fail to engage or disengage. This can result in an inability to pull away from a stop, an inability to shift while driving, or a failure of the clutch to release when the vehicle comes to a stop.
Corrective action
