Defect
The electrical circuit within the ECU controlling gear shifts on the automated mechanical transmission is improperly designed. In cold ambient conditions, the clutch may fail to engage or disengage. This can result in an inability to pull away from a stop, an inability to shift while driving, or a failure of the clutch to release when the vehicle comes to a stop.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the affected ECU is replaced with a corrected part.

状況
機械式自動変速機の変速を制御している電子制御機器（ＥＣＵ）の電気回路が不適切なため、寒冷時にクラッチの断接ができなくなるものがある。そのため、発進不能、走行時の変速不能、停止時にクラッチが切れなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ＥＣＵを対策品に交換する。
