Defect
The cross member and leaf spring mounting brackets have insufficient strength. Repeated cornering may cause cracks to develop in the cross member and leaf spring mounting brackets. Continued operation allows the cracks to propagate and, in the worst case, the leaf spring mounting brackets may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the cross member and leaf spring mounting brackets with corrected parts on all vehicles. As an interim measure while corrected parts are being sourced, inspect the affected areas. Where cracks are found in the cross member, repair by welding. Where cracks are found in the leaf spring mounting brackets, replace them with new units pending final replacement with corrected parts.

状況
クロスメンバ及びリーフスプリング取付金具の強度が不足しているため、旋回を繰り返すと、クロスメンバ及びリーフスプリング取付金具に亀裂が生じるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、リーフスプリング取付金具が破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クロスメンバ及びリーフスプリング取付金具を対策品に交換する。なお、対策品の供給に時間を要することから、暫定措置として当該部を点検し、クロスメンバに亀裂が発生している場合には、溶接補修し、リーフスプリング取付金具に亀裂が発生している場合には、新品と交換し、後日対策品と交換する。
