Defect
The weld securing the spare tire carrier mounting bracket to the vehicle body is improperly assembled. Vibration during driving may cause the weld to separate. If the vehicle continues to be used in this condition, the carrier may detach from the body and, in the worst case, the spare tire may fall from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the weld condition of the mounting bracket and, where the defect is found, apply additional welding.

状況
スペアタイヤキャリヤを車体に固定する取付金具の溶接が不適切なため、走行時の振動等により、溶接が剥がれるものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該キャリヤが車体から外れ、最悪の場合、スペアタイヤが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該取付金具の溶接状況を点検し、該当するものは、溶接を追加する。
