Defect
The exhaust pipe bellows section is not the correct length. Engine vibration causes cracks to develop in the bellows. Continued use allows exhaust gas to leak, increasing noise levels.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the exhaust pipe bellows section is inspected for correct length. On vehicles with an incorrect bellows length, the exhaust pipe from the bellows section onward is replaced with a corrected part and the bellows section itself is replaced with a new unit. On all vehicles, the exhaust pipe mounting bracket is replaced with a corrected part.

状況
排気管蛇腹部の長さが不適切なため、原動機の振動により当該蛇腹部に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、排出ガスが漏れ、騒音が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気管蛇腹部の長さを点検し、長さが不適切な車両は、排気管の蛇腹部以降を対策品に交換するとともに、排気管蛇腹部を新品に交換する。また、全車両、排気管取り付けブラケットを対策品に交換する。
