Defect
The vehicle speed sensor is improperly secured to the transmission. Vibration during driving may cause the resistor lead wire inside the sensor to develop a broken wire. As a result, the speed sensor fails to transmit a normal vehicle speed signal, causing malfunction of the speedometer and tachograph, and improper operation of the transmission's automatic shift mechanism.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vehicle speed sensor with a corrected part.

状況
トランスミッションへの車速センサ取り付け方法が不適切なため、走行中の振動等によ り、当該センサ内部の抵抗器リード線が断線するものがある。そのため、車速センサが車 速信号を正常に発信しなくなり、速度計・運行記録計の指示不良、トランスミッション自 動変速機構の作動不良等が発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該車速センサを対策品と交換する。
