Defect
On two-wheel-drive diesel vehicles, the front exhaust pipe mounting brackets have insufficient strength, and on automatic transmission-equipped vehicles, the main muffler mounting brackets contain a machining defect. Continued use allows engine vibration to fracture these brackets. In the worst case, the exhaust pipe may be damaged and exhaust gases may leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected mounting brackets (supplied with front pipe) with corrected parts.

状況
二輪駆動のディーゼル車において、排気管のフロントパイプ取付金具に強度不足のものが あり、また、自動変速機装着車の主消音器の取付金具に加工不良のものがあり、そのまま の状態で使用を続けると、原動機等の振動により当該取付金具が折損し、最悪の場合、排 気管が破損して排気ガスが漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該取付金具（フロントパイプ付）を対策品と交換する。
