Defect
The intake throttle valve shaft has insufficient strength. When the valve moves in the closing direction, repeated impact against the stopper bolt causes cracks to develop in the shaft. Continued use allows the shaft to fracture, leaving the intake throttle valve stuck in the closed position and causing the engine to malfunction. In the worst case, the engine may stall during driving and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
Because preparation of a permanent corrected part for the intake throttle valve requires additional time, all vehicles receive an interim replacement of the intake throttle valve assembly with a provisional corrected part. Once the permanent corrected part becomes available, it will be installed at a later date.

状況
原動機の吸気絞り弁のシャフトの強度が不足しているため、閉弁方向に作動した際のストッパボルトとの衝突により、シャフトに亀裂が発生することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、シャフトが折損し、当該吸気絞り弁が閉じたままとなることから原動機が不調となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストして再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
吸気絞り弁の恒久対策品の準備に時間を要することから、暫定対応として、全車両、吸気絞り弁一式を暫定対策品と交換する。なお、恒久対策品の準備ができ次第、後日恒久対策品と交換する。
