Defect
When a front or rear turn signal fails, the driver's seat turn signal indicator does not activate to alert the driver of the malfunction.
Corrective action
1. For auxiliary turn signals added to the side of the vehicle: replace the bulbs with corrected parts. 2. For square large triple-combination tail lamps installed at the rear: (a) Trucks — install the manufacturer's OEM increased-load relay. (b) Trailers — restore the standard lighting configuration, or remove the turn signal function built into the center section of the square large triple-combination tail lamp.

状況
自動車の前面または後面に備える方向指示器が故障した場合に、運転者席の作動状態表示装置が作動しない。
改善措置
１．側面に追加した補助方向指示器は、対策品の電球に交換する。 ２．後面に取付けている角大型三連テールランプについては、 ①トラック：メーカ純正の増灯用リレーを取付ける。 ②トレーラ：標準灯火に戻す、又は角大型三連テールランプ中央部に増設されている方向指示器の機能を取り外す。
