Defect
When a front or rear turn signal fails, the turn signal malfunction indicator at the driver's seat does not activate as required.
Corrective action
Apply one of the following corrective measures: (1) Replace the supplemental turn signal with an LED type that draws sufficiently low current. (2) Replace the turn signal control relay with a multi-lamp relay. (3) Install an additional turn signal control relay.
