During the manufacturing process, the clamp securing the oil cooler hose connection on the manual transmission is installed at an incorrect position on some units. Continued use may allow the hose to separate from the connection point, causing an oil leak. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the oil cooler hose clamp position. Where the clamp position is incorrect, reposition the clamp to the specified location.
