Defect
On tank lorries, the mounting position of the bracket that connects the tank to the chassis frame is improperly located, causing cracks to develop in the frame near the bracket attachment point on some units. Continued use allows the crack to propagate, and in the worst case, the frame may fracture, leaving the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the chassis frame for cracks. Where cracks are found, repair the frame and relocate the connecting bracket to the corrected position.

状況
タンクローリにおいて、タンクとシャシフレームを結合する金具の取付位置が不適切なため、当該金具取付部付近のフレームに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、フレームが折損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シャシフレームの亀裂の有無を点検し、亀裂のあるものについては補修を行うとともに、結合金具の取付位置を変更する。
