Defect
The exhaust pipe near the engine-side exhaust flange has insufficient strength. Engine vibration may cause the pipe to crack at that location, resulting in an exhaust gas leak. In the worst case, noise levels may increase beyond acceptable limits.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the exhaust pipe with a corrected part. For vehicles equipped with a 6W-series engine, the corrected part uses a revised material and increased wall thickness. For vehicles equipped with a 6SD1 engine, the corrected part incorporates a flexible joint (SJM) on the exhaust pipe.

状況
原動機側の排気管フランジ部付近の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、原動機の振動等により当該部の排気管に亀裂が発生し、排気ガスが漏れることがあり、最悪の場合、騒音が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気管を対策品（６Ｗ系エンジン搭載車は、排気管の材質、厚みを変更したもの。６ＳＤ１エンジン搭載車は、排気管にジョイント（ＳＪＭ）を装着したもの。）と交換する。
