Defect
On rear two-axle heavy trucks with a non-driven rear trailing axle, the trunnion base of the rear axle suspension has insufficient strength. Stress generated during minimum-radius turning can cause cracks to develop in the trunnion base. Continued use allows the cracks to propagate and, in the worst case, the base may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the trunnion base assembly on all vehicles with a corrected unit.

状況
後2軸大型トラック(後々軸:非駆動軸車)の緩衝装置において、後軸のトラニオンベースの強度が不足しているため、最小旋回走行時に発生する応力等により、当該ベースに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、当該ベースが破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策トラニオンベース一式に交換する。
