Defect
A manufacturing defect in internal components of the seat belt retractor for the driver and front passenger seats causes the gear sensor end of the lock mechanism to interfere with the guide holder, preventing the seat belt from being withdrawn. As a result, the belt cannot be fastened and the occupant cannot be restrained.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the driver and front passenger seat belts with corrected parts.

状況
運転者席及び助手席用座席ベルトの巻取装置内部の部品に製造不良のものがあるため、ロック機構のギアセンサ端部とガイドホルダが干渉し、座席ベルトを引き出せないことがある。そのため、当該ベルトが装着できず、乗員を拘束できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転者席及び助手席の座席ベルトを対策品と交換する。
