Defect
On large touring buses, the bracket securing the air pipe for the electro-pneumatic transmission has insufficient strength. Engine vibration causes cracks to develop in the air pipe, allowing air to leak. In the worst case, gear shifting may become impossible.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the bracket with a corrected/revised part and replace the air pipe with a new unit.

状況
大型観光バスにおいて、④電気エア式変速機用エアパイプを固定するブラケットの強度が不足しているため、エンジンの振動により当該パイプに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、エアが漏れて、最悪の場合、変速できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、④当該ブラケットを対策品と交換するとともにエアパイプを新品と交換する。
