Defect
The fuel tank mounting structure is improperly designed, causing the tank to resonate with engine vibration. This resonance generates a crack near the right front mounting point of the fuel tank. Continued use allows the crack to propagate and, in the worst case, fuel may leak from the cracked area.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front fuel tank mounting cushion and spacer with corrected parts, and add a lower tank support cushion to the frame. Inspect the fuel tank; if a crack is found, replace the tank with a new unit.

状況
燃料タンクの取付け構造が不適切なため、原動機の振動により燃料タンクが共振し、燃料タンクの右前側取付け部付近に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、亀裂部から燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンク前側取付け用クッションとスペーサを対策品に交換し、フレームに燃料タンク下側支持用クッションを追加する。なお、燃料タンクを点検し、亀裂が発生しているものについては新品の燃料タンクに交換する。
