Defect
② The fan shaft gear that drives the engine cooling fan has insufficient strength. Under low-speed operating conditions, the gear resonates, causing wear. Continued use degrades the gear further. In the worst case, gear tooth loss may occur, causing the engine to stall and leaving the vehicle unable to restart.
Corrective action
② Replace the fan shaft gear on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
②原動機の冷却ファンを駆動するファンシャフトギヤの強度が不足しているため、当該ギヤが低回転時に共振を起こし摩耗するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ギヤが損傷し、最悪の場合、ギヤの歯が欠損してエンジンが停止し再始動不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
②全車両、ファンシャフトギヤを対策品と交換する。
